Just thought I'd mention the wonderful new road surface being laid in the Broadway, Golf green Road & Jaywick Lane.

Now how about doing the same for the Pavements?

For those that never venture into the real jaywick, we underwent a 2 year programme that gave us the best road, pavement, and road drainage's for miles around, billiard board smooth and deep underpinnings to take the weight now of HGV`s - just in time for wheelie bin collections then..

Its costings were £16 million I think, and we still get those with no brains saying we live on dirt roads, like those on the way to Frinton after the marshes, or like the private roads in Frinton that made my old landrover jump about a bit.

Factually, Jaywick  has only 26%  of private roads in all of Tendring - fact

but I know we have the very best roads now of that 26%

yet I have family that live in "posh" part of clacton that has terrible road surfaces controlled by TDC/ECC...

oh well..lol

would take far too long to explain why we retired 10 years early and moved here,
but never regretted doing either.
