And to you too Viv.

Like many, I have had to shoulder many family problems, but think of it as a "test of strength" by whom and why I just don't know, but lets say I`ve had a bad year.

My advice as always, just keep pressing on no matter what..

would take far too long to explain why we retired 10 years early and moved here,
but never regretted doing either.

Churchill used to put KBO at the bottom of memos apparently which meant roughly the same as Ian's last line, is that what you meant Dave?

Nooo, i`m Aries born plus ex banger racer - keep going despite punctures and only stop for the black flag - lol

when racing i went to race (keep going round very fast) until i got damaged lots or decided that If I cant win, take out as many as I could before stopping - lol

Then, there was always another race to race round again, until------- LOL

never defeated, but stopped many times, is my ethics (as was winning & sticking 2 fingers up to the rest mentally)..

loved winning, always did, won lots..

never been a shy or snowflake me, tell it as it is, like it or not, never intentionally send out disrespect, unless i get it first, then out it will come.

you have to have some people that make decisions, while many follow others decision making with ease, thats not me I`m afraid...

No point changing now I`m nearly 71, as who should I set out to Impress ?....lol

Had many follow my thoughts or actions but then many never did, but, then that's not my problem.

If you need help from someone, then accept it, then that's good advice, but if you don't accept help or advice, then that's not my problem either as I know I tried to help.

Other peoples minds don't always see things the same way - my problem? - of course not.

me being labeled as Churchillian?

think the French have a saying for all this, but the english is more abrupt. DILLIGAF

but as we now copy the americans and say,

have a nice day Y`all. - all without real meaning.

The usual suspects!  That's why I very rarely put a post on here Ian, just rise above it.

Dont know what you were thinking nor the translation of your French word but the definition of Churchillian from www.vocabulary.com is::

Politicians are often called Churchillian when they appear to be uncompromising, focused, and strong, as Churchill was a powerful and determined wartime Prime Minister. Even more Churchillian, though, is an excellent public speaker, especially one who has the ability to get the audience energized and cheering. Churchillian political orators are skilled at electrifying listeners the way Winston Churchill did during his famous "we shall fight on the beaches" speech in 1940.
