Maureen, you could be really controversial and start a Z-A!

Really Josie, me controversial??

I'll just hang up my wooden spoon now!!

Mmm      Z-A, well it would be different.  Ya think?

Reluctantly, you could cause quite a stir

Stuart,

Thank you for trying. As with many others we missed Streetlife.  I did try to spread the word wherever possible, but if people do the usual, and sit on their hands, instead of trying something new....

The Fun Quizzes will carry on as before and the Sequence dances on a Friday evening.

Plus all the other things that go on at the Hall, from Art to Yoga (no Zumba now).

I do wish you well in your chosen career, and hope to see you out and about.

As i`m one of your less using contributors I can feel your pain.

For 6 years I done my best over here In Brooklands, but with other sites and forums and lack of real support it was hard going, but there you go, and like you, It was worth it at the time

I`ve got a twitter account I don't use from one month to the next but get daily updates on who/what /where but don't seem to log in.

I only came on here today to show a young American lad taking the pee out of "our" Indian scammers doing virtually the same thing but using the American codes for there taxation system..

Oh, the young lad even calls himself Mr TROLL.....lol

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O90F1P4q3vk

enjoy,

and good luck with what ever way you chose TT to go..

would take far too long to explain why we retired 10 years early and moved here,
but never regretted doing either.

@jaywickian2017

It is really great to know that everything is calm and peaceful all over Tendring and that nothing has been worthy of discussion.

Now over two months, no one has posted! Not as bad as Jaywick.net a resiidents view though with no thing new for a year!

Oh well, that didn't bring any Tendring Talkers out of hibernation, how about A Happy Christmas & A Happy New Year to all 790 members.

It `Aint over till the fat lady sings,

so they say.

Sadly for Jaywick.net, (if that was the one run be our now Late Dave)

I dont know If thats still going either - must go look see..

Its a strange goings on In out beloved Jaywick, with the original Jaywick Forum run by Jackie, I not been on that for a "while" either

I also not bothered looking to see If my various forums are still going when i was Brooklands Spokesperson, but not been that man since  2012 era..

My life continues at Its pace wifeless for 2 years and  3 days so priorities have changed, but ended up with a 19 year old grand daughter and my youngest daughter staying at mine - OH HOW WONDERFUL..not - lol

My son still lives close, but he too Is a changed man since his 2 blood clots in his left leg, a skin virus and SEPSIS that nearly killed him, and the trauma of being on life support 10 days and isolation in CCU (critical care unit) for 10 weeks with it all, BUT, managed to tell of his mental  ordeals while under sedation, (very vivid stories)

Then to top my Christmas list with the sad fact I could no longer look after my then 8 year old grandson, who has both ADHD and on the Autism Spectrum  / through sheer exhaustion so he had to go into care..

So, not much going on in my life in the last 2 years then..lol

Wifeys funeral got paid for by her life Insurance, Her new motorbility car was returned 2 days after her funeral,

Little George ended up eventually with a great foster mum & dad for a year or so, but had to move onto another family out in wildest Norfolk, But, we have met once, meeting again this weekend, but only scheduled to see him for 2 hours every 2 months, but, that was fought for with Social Services due to one A$$hole women's views when i could no longer cope with both wifey AND son basically dying In Colchester Hospital, yet was supposed to run to then fetch our George during day time..

I`m still alive, still trying to do things to help my live at home daughter (Georges mum) as she has "Mental Issues" but many wonder why I dont no longer do Jaywick meetings -lol

And some say I dont post much...

No SH1T SHIRLOCK

Site got hacked and they blocked all ip addresses.. Took me a while but managed to undo what they did. I don't know why people do this, don't gain anything from it.

Rain seems to be relentless last few weeks.
I drive through boumont every day and it's a foot deep in some places.
though my car is nice and clean 🙂

Hi all,
The website is up for renewel in February and owing to the little usage, i'm thinking about just closing it down due to me not havin much time to maintain and fund it anymore.
I don't want to start putting adverts on the pages and there's little or no activity for up to 6 days in some cases.
I'm gutted to be honest but is it worth it?

What's your thoughts on this??

Regards

Stuart

Thought I would just check in to see if anyone else had.  Hope everyone is doing OK, well and happy

I agree with you Stuart.  It is very sad but you would be wasting your time and money in my opinion.
