GOOD NEWS WEEK, 1)  its cooler and been raining earlier after the night outside temperature dropped dramatically, but not complaining,

2) we got our wheelie bins, giving them out to everyone it seems - can only be good news for us coastal dwellers.

TBH, most of us have used smaller wheelie bins or smaller plast dustbins as we get yearly seagulls roosting on our roofs with there grey baby birds, so a big black bag was treasure to them, thus our use of dustbins & smaller wheelie bins but, now, fully fledged Bi-weekly collections on green box week.

OK, for those that dont yet know the rules.

dont think your "full" bin wont take no more bags - before dropping them, squease them down while holding the tops of the bag, and you will find the bag IS full, but of "voids" or pockets of air, press tight a few times then spin and you will get a nice tight spiral of plastic to tie a loop with.

lots more room then..

Point 3)  dont think by leaving bin bags by the side, on top, or piled up with the bin lid open it will get taken, IT WONT. - you need to play by the rules or have a mess to pick up and take to the tip.

Point 4) I dont really care if no one listens or reads my comments, but be aware of the rules, I am not the rule maker, just trying to be of help, as If man or woman can carry on as they please, It matters not to me, but am glad we finally got our bins, and plan to go by the rules.... In life things change, so, as human beings we are Intelligent to adapt, just as cats. dogs and flying rats have done in ripping open black bin bags.. Soon, visitors who have for years had wheelie bins will look and say, LOOK, black bin bags with no bins - Oh so out of touch, must be commoners I guess - Be like jeffery, use a bin, as you use bins for every day use when your out, or face fines, whicj brings me to point ---

5) How long before littering fines start being handed out by TDC/ECC for the mess caused by those who still put out bin bags.... LOL    .I can guess it wont be long, and the sight of early morning homeowners going out in PJ`s clearing up the midnight feasts mess will be nothing short of shocking to avoid a fine for littering.. but oh so funny to watch..

Have a nice day y`ALL

would take far too long to explain why we retired 10 years early and moved here,
but never regretted doing either.
